We’re delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Jez Tribe, has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Property Professional of the Year category of the Nottingham Post Business Awards.

The Nottingham Post Business Awards aim to celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies throughout Nottinghamshire who are putting their region on the map by boosting the economy while making a positive contribution to the local community.

A fair and transparent letting service

At a time when the media talks a lot about ‘rogue’ landlords and property management companies, Jez’s appearance as one of the three finalists in this category is a reminder that there are property professionals who are challenging negative stereotypes and committed to providing a fair and transparent service.

Jez established Able Property Trust in 1997 with a vision of bringing an honest, trustworthy and reliable face to the letting industry – both for landlords and for tenants.

Since then, he has become a DASH accredited landlord, a National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) regulated agent, and he is recognised as a Safe Agent by the Property Ombudsman. The average tenancy of people living in properties managed by Able Property Trust exceeds eight years.

Jez is valued as a proactive agent who can advise landlords on the latest property legislation and implement the appropriate checks and safety measures on their behalf. He also offers a full property maintenance service so that tenants know that their homes will be kept to high standards.

The Property Professional of the Year and other category winners will be announced at the Nottingham Post Business Awards ceremony

The awards ceremony at which the Winner for each category will be announced will take place at an elegant black-tie event on Tuesday 29th May 2018. The event will be attended by hundreds of Nottinghamshire’s business elite. It is intended to be a celebration of the county’s best companies and a reminder that Nottinghamshire is a great place to do business.

Before then though, Jez will be filmed in action by the event’s video production company. We asked him if he’ll wear a suit for the film but, as anyone who knows Jez will tell you, his suits only come out for weddings, funerals and – it turns out – black tie awards ceremonies!

Jez says of his nomination: “It’s a real honour to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Nottingham Post Business Awards. Whatever the outcome on 29th May, I am so pleased to have been nominated and to have received this recognition for the hard work we do for tenants and landlords.”

We’ll keep you posted on how Jez gets on via our website and Facebook so watch this space!
